Rohini Bugyal Trek

Overview

Tungnath is situated in Rudraprayag disrict near Sari village of uttarakhand. The trek start from Chopta, Chopta is the base camp for Chopta Trek. Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world .From tungnath Chandrashila is approximately 1.5 kilometers Trek, and it takes about 1-2 hours to reach the summit.

Day- 1

Rishikesh to Sari

Where you start in Rishikesh depends on how you're traveling. If it's a tour, they might pick you up from your hotel. If you're using a bus or car, you'd start from wherever you are staying.

Rishikesh to Devprayag junction (Alaknanda & Bhagirathi) , Devprayag to Rudraprayag junction (Alaknanda & Mandakini), Rudraprayag to Sari & Stay in Sari,

Day- 2

Trek Sari to Rohini Bugyal
11km

Trek to Rohini Bugyal, It's about 1 kilometers and might take 6 to 7 hours. first you reach Deoria Tal, You'll see nice views From Deoria tal, take some break and Continue the trek from Deoria Tal to Rohini Bugyal. The distance from Deoria Tal to Rohini Bugyal is approximately 8 kilometers, and it takes about 5-6 hours to reach the summit. After reaching Rohini Bugyal. Setup your tent and also explore Rohini Bugyal.​

Day- 3

Chopta
(Optional)

Walk from Rohini Bugyal to Chopta, It's about 6 kilometers and might take 1.5 to 2 hours. You'll see nice views on the way. When you reach Chopta, Stay in Chopta. enjoy the mountains around.

Back to Sari

If you want to back After the Rohini Bugyal, Day 3 You Back to Sari. And Day 4 You easily travel for Rishikes.
