Chopta Tungnath Trek

Overview

Tungnath is situated in Rudraprayag disrict near Sari village of uttarakhand. The trek start from Chopta, Chopta is the base camp for Chopta Trek. Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world .From tungnath Chandrashila is approximately 1.5 kilometers Trek, and it takes about 1-2 hours to reach the summit.

Day- 1

Rishikesh to Sari / Chopta​

Where you start in Rishikesh depends on how you're traveling. If it's a tour, they might pick you up from your hotel. If you're using a bus or car, you'd start from wherever you are staying.

Day- 2

Trek to Tungnath , Chandrashila & Back

Trek  to  Tungnath, It's about 4 kilometers and might take 2 to 3 hours. You'll see nice views on the way. When you reach Tungnath, Continue the trek from Tungnath to Chandrashila.The distance from Tungnath to Chandrashila is approximately 1.5 kilometers, and it takes about 1-2 hours to reach the summit.
Back To Sari / Chopta 
After spending time at there, walk back to Sari / Chopta using the same path.It'll take about the same time to return. and Stay in Sari / Chopta,

Day- 3

Deoriatal Trek

Walk from Sari to Deoria Tal, a beautiful lake. It's about 3 kilometers and might take 1.5 to 2 hours. You'll see nice views on the way. When you reach Deoria Tal, take your time to enjoy the lake and the mountains around i
